After last week’s noisy pop set from Bordeauxxx, we now welcome fellow Londoners The One to the Beyond Retro stage this Saturday (6th July). The duo, composed of producer/drummer Mr Joe Ryan and producer/vocalist Mr Emeson, take influence from flyte time setters Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis’, 24th Century Kleeer and the early eighties era plus other impressarios such as Skinny Puppy, Gus Gus, Sir Larry Heard and Lord Robert Owens, creating a sound best described as electronic soul.
